Good News: I Have Not Been Eaten By a Bear!

Hello there, friends!

Happy Sunday! It’s been a while. Perhaps so long that there might be unlikely rumors circulating around about the events leading up to my drop off the blogging universe. Whether or not you do actually believe I was eaten by a bear or not, good news: I wasn’t.

But really. I haven’t been doing a very good job of keeping you guys up-to-date on all the happenings with my novel and my work as a writer, and I do apologize for that. Summer is coming to an end, and that means senior year for me and a whole slew of events that will strike one after another and ultimately lead to a fairly decent conclusion on this chapter of my life.

However, before we reach that point, I’ll let you know about how everything is going with Haywood Micaye and all my other writing endeavors!

Notes on Mr. Micaye

Hello there, friends!

I am an odd human.

I suppose this goes without saying, if you look back at everything I have done in my life, like committing myself to becoming a writer, or staying up until ungodly hours thinking about fictional people that no one but myself truly understands.

Spring Cleaning… In February

Hello there, friends!

I just spent the better portion of this afternoon updating the blog, and after all that time I am now very satisfied with how it all turned out! Not only did I change the banner (finally) and went for a new background, but the home page now features several pictures with quick links to the important parts of the blog.

But, while I am proud of my handiwork, there is a more important feature that I am excited to start using.

Beginning very soon, I am going to be using the blog as a means to release some short stories and other works of mine for you to read and hopefully enjoy!

The End of an Era (Also, A Wave of Love)

Hello there, friends!

This past Saturday marked the end of the Haywood Micaye campaign. After all the deductions and processing charges were dealt with, the Indiegogo project online generated $200. This number, however, doesn’t factor in the many offline donations I have received throughout the month and the encouraging words from all involved.

Final verdict: I am a very happy writer.

It’s the Final Countdown!

Hello there, friends!

As the title suggests, we are nearing the end of the Haywood Micaye crowdfunding efforts, and if you would have told me that yesterday afternoon, I would have been a little disappointed to hear it.

This is because I am not only sad when good things come to an end, but around that time I wasn’t even so sure this would end up being good.

Happy New Year!

Hello there, friends!

I hope you all had a fun New Year’s Eve, and I hope today is just as fun. This post is just a friendly reminder of all the things I have going on right now in regards to Haywood Micaye, so jump on your New Year’s fitness resolutions and take a jog with me!

I mean a memory jog, of course. But I am all for fitness… fitness whole pizza in my mouth. (Mmm, pizza.)
